Ngizwe Mchunu is trending again, and not for a good reason.
On the KZN Tonight Podcast, he took a shot at former allies Phakelumthakathi and Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma, bragging about his own travels while mocking theirs. He said Phakelumthakathi has never even been to Mozambique. He said Jacinta only leaves the country when someone else foots the bill. The clip hit X and things escalated fast.
It is not coming out of nowhere. Ngizwe recently walked away from March and March, and the fallout with his old crew has only gotten messier since.
This time the crowd was not on his side. People called the comments petty. A few said Phakelumthakathi and Jacinta should just ignore him and keep working. Others were blunter, guessing the real issue was Ngizwe’s ego, not anyone’s passport stamps.
Neither Phakelumthakathi nor Jacinta has responded. Ngizwe has not said more either, past the podcast. At this point, he is used to the noise.
