Kenya Riverside attack: All terrorists eliminated

Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta has addressed the people of Kenya and the world at large concerning yesterday’s terrorist attack at the Dusit complex in Nairobi.

He confirmed that all the terrorists involved were eliminated by Kenyan Security forces where 14 lives were lost and over 700 civilians evacuated from the complex.

He said Kenya is grieving as a country after being violated by senseless violence and that his government would bring to book all those who were involved in orchestrating the terrorist attack

“We will seek out every person that was involved in the funding, planning and execution of this heinous act”, said Kenyatta.

The Kenyan President also commended those who took their time to rescue other civilians in the face of danger.

“For every act of evil that led to injury yesterday, there dozens of acts of compassion, overflowing patriotism and individual courage” thanked Uhuru.

This comes after less than a day after Somalian Militant group, El Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack on the complex where 4 gunmen, shortly after 3pm on Tuesday 15 January 2019, attacked with explosions and a suicide bomb.
